A meeting with Prof Ben

Chatted with Ben over IM about the progress of our team, and when we were not able to decide whether to work on an idea. Some snippets from him. :)

I believe in leaving you guys to sort out your ideas
ideas are good
that's what CS3216 is about :-P
it's about ideas
and thinking about them
and then deciding on one that you think is best
and DOING it

just spend more time thrashing out your ideas
but you need to decide when enough is enouhg
and once the decision is made
all should just focus on making it work
start with something simple
good ideas are often the simple ones
not the really complicated ones

This is my advice to you:
you guys will only get to do a CS3216 Final Project once in your life
don't worry too much about your grades
do something that you think will be fun and you will remember when you graduate from NUS
you guys have to believe in your app
PASSION
:-)
